Vistra Reports Record Financial Results For Retail Segment

Vistra reported "record financial results" for its Retail segment as the company reported fourth quarter and full year earnings
Vistra's Retail segment posted Adjusted EBITDA of $645 million for the fourth quarter of 2025, up from $600 million a year ago
For the full year 2025, Vistra's Retail segment posted Adjusted EBITDA of $1,622 million, up from $1,463 million a year ago
For the full year 2025, Vistra reported higher retail margins from favorable supply costs
Vistra also reported, "strong counts and margins in the retail business".
However, Vistra said that the record 2025 Retail results were driven in part by some tailwinds which are not expected to repeat in the future, including some supply cost benefits and gains related to the Energy Harbor acquisition
Over the medium term, Vistra continues to expect Retail to achieve Adjusted EBITDA in the neighborhood of approximately $1.4 billion
Vistra also said that it organically grew residential customer counts in Texas
Vistra retail volumes for 2025 increased 4% driven by continued growth in the business markets segment
Vistra's retail electric volumes were 139.1 TWh for the year 2025, up from 133.4 TWh a year ago
Vistra said that it is serving approximately 5 million residential, commercial, and industrial retail
customers
