Start-up Dynasty Energy Cooperative Registers As Texas Broker
Dynasty Energy Cooperative LLC, a newly formed entity, filed a registration as a Texas retail electric broker. Nicholas Noble and Connor Ward serve as Managing Members of Dynasty Energy Cooperative LLC.
MPower Utility Group Receives License In New State
The Maryland PSC granted MPower Utility Group Inc. an electric broker license to serve commercial customers. The PSC's letter order, as is customary, stated that the license is limited to the service territories applied for and recommended by PSC Staff. MPower Utility Group's publicly filed application appears to have sought authority only at BGE, Pepco, Delmarva, and Potomac Edison. However, Staff's recommendation, in indicating the service areas for which MPower Utility Group had sought authority, marked Choptank Electric Cooperative as a service area for which authority was sought, in addition to the four investor-owned utilities. As previously reported, MPower Utility Group is a start-up, and is not affiliated with any retail supplier or other broker using the term MPower in its name (see more background here
Prudential Energy Services Receives Maryland Licenses
The Maryland PSC granted Prudential Energy Services Corporation electric and natural gas broker licenses to serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas.
