Oncor Files Rates For New Rider Applicable To Texas Retail Providers
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Oncor has filed with the Texas PUC the amounts for the rates to be charged to retail electric providers under the new Rider IS - Interim Surcharge established in Oncor's recently adjudicated rate case
Rider IS recovers the difference between revenues approved under the rate case order, and the revenues generated under the rates which had been in effect on January 1, 2026 through the date of the new rate case rates, and thus the Rider IS charges were unknown at the time of the rate case order (which had set the Rider IS amounts to $0 as a placeholder)
The Interim Surcharge Rider will be effective beginning August 1, 2026, and will continue
through the last billing cycles in December 2026.
The filed Rider IS charges are:
Docket 59495
