PUC Posts Winning Prices From Default Service Auction

The PUC of Ohio has posted the winning prices from the June 2026 auction for a portion of default service electricity supplies at the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities
The June auction procured 16 tranches at a clearing price of $96.64 per MWh for the period June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028
The June auction procured 16 tranches at a clearing price of $100.10 per MWh for the period June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2029
There were 6 winning bidders overall; 4 for the June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028 tranches, and 5 for the June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2029 tranches
Bidder identities will remain confidential for a customary period
