Just Energy today announced a new Summer Saver Texas residential electric plan that offers a 2 cent per kWh credit off the plan's energy rate for the months of June, July, and August

Summer Saver is offered as a 12 or 24 month fixed rate plan

In the Oncor service area, the Summer Saver 12 plan has an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 16.7¢ per kWh, with an energy charge of 10.9¢/kWh, to which the 2 cent per kWh discount noted above applies, plus a pass-through of TDU fees.

The average price per kWh is derived from the consumption patterns of Just Energy customers, representing a load-weighted average of 33% of annual electricity usage during the Summer period (June - August)

A Minimum Usage Fee of $4.99 will apply to billing cycles less than 400 kW

A $175 early termination fee applies
