Global Commodities Supplier Receives Approval For Change In Texas Retail Provider Certificate Authority
The Texas PUC granted the application of TESM LLC to change from an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider to an Option 2 REP. TESM LLC is part of Trafigura. Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service. Option 1 REPs are generally authorized to serve all customers, unless the REP files to serve a smaller group of customers (e.g., limited to specific TDUs or geographic areas)
Texas Broker Files For Name Change
Energy Associates LLC, a registered electric broker, filed at the Texas PUC to change the company's name to Energy Associates Hub LLC.
Telamar Receives Texas Aggregator Certificate
The Texas PUC granted Telamar Energy Inc., an existing Texas broker, an electric aggregator certificate as a Class I aggregator. In a narrative, Telamar Energy said that it would aggregate commercial and industrial customers.
