PUC Reports Winning Bidders From Default Service Auction

The PUC of Ohio has disclosed winning bidders from the June 9, 2026 default service auction at the FirstEnergy Ohio Utilities
The June auction procured 16 tranches at a clearing price of $96.64 per MWh for the period June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028
The June auction procured 16 tranches at a clearing price of $100.10 per MWh for the period June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2029
Winning bidders and tranches won were as follows:

• Boston Energy Trading and Marketing LLC - 8 tranches won
• BP Energy Company - 4 tranches won
• ConocoPhillips Company - 3 tranches won

• AEP Energy Partners, Inc. - 5 tranches won
• BP Energy Company - 2 tranches won
