PSC Schedules Technical Conference To Examine Adding Administrative Adder To Purchase of Receivables Discount Rates

The District of Columbia PSC has scheduled for Thursday, July 23, 2026 a virtual technical conference in cases PEPPOR-2026-01 and
WGPOR-2026-0 to address the feasibility of including an
administrative adder as part of the Purchase of Receivables (POR) discount rate at Pepco and Washington Gas Light
The DC PSC had previously ordered that such a technical conference be held as part of a recent order which included immediate changes to the design of the residential purchase of receivables (POR) programs at Pepco and Washington Gas Light, as the PSC at such time also generally endorsed design changes which are to be addressed after further investigation
The issue of to which customer classes a POR admin. adder would be applied was specifically reserved for further study
