Texas Retail Provider Reports Change In Upstream Ownership
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The three entities Lancium REP I, LLC; Lancium REP II, LLC; and Lancium QSE I, LLC, all of which hold Option 2 retail electric provider certificates in Texas, reported that their parent, Lancium, LLC, recently closed on a
transaction which changes the persons or entities having a minimum 10% ownership interest
in Lancium, LLC, resulting in an indirect
change of upstream ownership for each REP
The specific change in entities holding ownership interests, and related details, were filed under seal and could not immediately be confirmed.
However, publication The Information had recently reported that Lancium was in discussions to sell a non-majority interest, with NVIDIA reportedly among various tech firms that were in play to invest in Lancium, per The Information
