LS Power To Acquire Retail Energy Broker

Carrier Global Corporation today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its NORESCO business to OPTERRA Energy Services, a subsidiary of LS Power.
The transaction is expected to close shortly, Carrier said
Among other services, NORESCO offers energy procurement consulting and is registered as a retail energy broker in various states
NORESCO also provides various other energy services, including solutions to modernize aging building systems and upgrade energy and water infrastructure
LS Power acquired OPTERRA Energy Services, formerly ENGIE Services U.S., in 2025
