The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

As other Exelon-owned utilities have done, Delmarva Power in Delaware has proposed that responsibility for PJM Billing Line Item 1935, U.S. DOE 202C charges, be transferred to the utility, rather than being the responsibility of the wholesale SOS supplier

"This would require suppliers who are currently serving load to obtain a new short name for future load," Delmarva noted in a filing at the Delaware PSC

Delmarva proposed the change as part of an annual update to the SOS full requirements service agreement

PJM Billing Line Item 1935 relates to U.S. Dept of Energy (DOE) emergency orders under Section 202C of the Federal Power Act.

Delmarva in the SOS filing did not address treatment of Billing Line Item 1935 for non-SOS suppliers (retail suppliers)
