Retail Supplier Undergoes Change In Ownership, Now A Subsidiary Of Holding Co. Owning Multiple Suppliers, Rather Than Only Being An Affiliate Previously

National Gas and Electric, LLC has undergone a change in ownership, described as an "intercompany move", under which SparkHoldco, LLC has purchased National Gas and Electric, LLC
SparkHoldco, LLC, which is a subsidiary of Via Renewables, Inc., is the parent of various Spark Energy and related retail supplier brands and entities, including Major Energy
Services, LLC; Electricity Maine,
LLC; Verde Energy USA,
Inc.; and more
Previously, National Gas and Electric, LLC was a direct subsidiary of Retailco, LLC. While Retailco, LLC owns 100% of the common stock of Via Renewables, Inc., National Gas and Electric, LLC was not previously a direct or indirect subsidiary of Via Renewables, Inc., and was a separate subsidiary of Retailco, LLC (though affiliated with Via Renewables, Inc.)
National Gas and Electric, LLC (NGE) said in a regulatory filing that, "NGE will continue to operate as a separate entity, will retain its brand name and will continue to operate with no disruption in customer service. NGE customers will experience no changes or interruptions in their service. The reorganization will not involve any assignment, transfer or sale of NGE customer contracts or NGE license. NGE will continue to have the requisite technical, managerial and financial capabilities."
