Maryland Utilities Update SOS Admin. Charge, Other Bypassable Rate Components

Baltimore Gas and Electric in Maryland has filed updates to its bypassable SOS Admin. Charge to be effective October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027
At BGE, the total SOS Administrative Charges for Residential, Type I and Type II,
and Hourly Service will change effective with October 2026 bills from 4.47 mills per kWh, 3.76
mills per kWh, 3.52 mills per kWh, and 3.01 mills per kWh, to 4.12 mills per kWh, 4.11 mills per
kWh, 3.30 mills per kWh and 2.95 mills per kWh, respectively.
BGE also filed an updated bypassable Rider 8 (reconciliation) for the period October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027
For Rate R residential customers, Rider 8 will be a credit of (1.050) cents per kWh, versus the current credit of (0.138) cents per kWh

Pepco-Maryland and Delmarva-MD also recently filed to update their bypassable SOS admin charges for the period October 1, 2026 through January 31,
2027
At Pepco-Maryland, the total SOS Administrative Charges for Residential, Type I and Type II,
and Hourly Service will change effective with October 2026 bills from 4.04 mills per kWh,
3.62 mills per kWh, 2.29 mills per kWh and 2.46 mills per kWh, to 4.15 mills per kWh, 3.67
mills per kWh, 2.24 mills per kWh and 2.14 mills per kWh, respectively.
At Delmarva-Maryland, the total SOS Administrative Charges for Residential, Type I and Type
II, and Hourly Service will change effective with October 2026 bills from 4.62 mills per
kWh, 3.94 mills per kWh, 4.76 mills per kWh and 2.60 mills per kWh, to 4.27 mills per kWh,
3.78 mills per kWh, 4.38 mills per kWh and 2.40 mills per kWh, respectively.
