AEP Ohio's electricity price to compare will decrease by nearly 1 cent per kWh under a quarterly adjustment to the bypassable Auction Cost Reconciliation Rider (ACRR)

AEP Ohio has filed to decrease the ACRR from the current charge of 0.41210 cents per kWh to be a credit of (0.37229) cents per kWh, effective October 1, 2026, which is a swing of nearly 8 mills per kWh in the bypassable price to compare

Under the change, AEP Ohio's RS residential price to compare would fall to 10.18 cents per kWh (rounded to two decimals per PUCO presentation of PTC), from the current residential PTC of 10.97 cents per kWh (rounded)

AEP Ohio does not propose a quarterly change in the amount of bypassable Rider AER (Alternative Energy Rider)
