PUC Consolidates Consideration Of Certain Default Service Policy Questions

The New Hampshire PUC has consolidated consideration of certain common electricity default service policy questions at Public Service Company of New Hampshire, Granite State Electric (Liberty), and Unitil
Specifically, the PUC will consider in an omnibus fashion the following common default service questions:
(1) whether the proxy-price development methodology for the EDCs’ ISO-New
England market based procurement components for the EDCs’ default service rates should be adjusted from the current approved methodology to incorporate a market-futures based pricing element going forward, and
(2) whether the default service reconciliation cycle for the EDCs should be shortened from the current twelve (12) months to a semi-annual six (6) month reconciliation cycle.
