Toyota Selects Energy Supplier For Texas PPA Supporting New Solar

Constellation and Toyota Motor North America today announced a 15-year renewable energy agreement that supports the development of new solar generation in Texas.
With this agreement, Toyota will receive renewable energy certificates (RECs) generated by the Milano Solar project, developed by Ferrovial, a global infrastructure company, through the Constellation Offsite Renewable (CORe) solutions product.
Backed by Toyota’s long-term commitment, Constellation has entered into a separate long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Ferrovial’s Milano Solar project for more than 115 megawatts of solar capacity, representing approximately 246,000 megawatt-hours of energy generation annually.
The agreement represents a portion of the total output from Milano Solar, a 203.97-megawatt project located in Milam County, Texas.
Toyota will receive project-specific Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) generated by Milano Solar and retired by Constellation throughout the 15-year term of the agreement. The project is expected to begin commercial operation in September 2027.
Ferrovial Energy, a division of Ferrovial, is developing the project.
