Retail Energy Supply Association Elects New President

The Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA) announced that Kristina Montgomery of Vistra Corp. was elected to serve as president of the association.
Montgomery, a 15-year veteran of the energy industry with over a decade spent at retail energy suppliers, is a senior director of state and regional policy engagement at Vistra Corp.
Montgomery previously served in several leadership positions for RESA, including as a member of RESA’s executive committee and as a state chair representing RESA in key competitive energy markets.
"I am honored to be elected as president of RESA and help build on the association’s longstanding commitment to preserving and strengthening competitive retail energy markets," said Montgomery. "Consumers benefit when they have a choice. Consumers nationwide want the ability to select an energy supplier and a product that best meets their needs.
