Texas TDU Reports Billing Correction For Rider, Incorrect Higher Amounts Charged To REPs For Nearly 1 Month

AEP Texas reported that it will be conducting a billing correction due to a delay in using new, interim amounts under Rider Mobile TEEE Facilities, with bills to REPs erroneously reflecting the prior, higher charge for this rider
AEP Texas said that the Texas PUC approved the use of new interim rates for Rider Mobile TEEE Facilities, for bills rendered on and after September 1, 2026
AEP Texas said in a market notice that, "Due to a delay in implementation, the approved interim rates were not reflected in billing until September 29, 2026."
AEP Texas said that, as a result, certain accounts were billed using the previously effective rate during the period between Sept. 1 and Sept. 29.
"AEP Texas is coordinating the necessary billing corrections for affected accounts to reflect the Commission-approved interim rates," AEP Texas said in a market notice
