Gulf Oil Limited Partnership Receives Connecticut Electric License
The Connecticut DPUC granted Gulf Oil Limited Partnership an electric supplier license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers.  As only noted in Matters (10/13), Gulf Oil Limited Partnership initially plans to conduct a pilot program, during which time it will supply electricity to affiliated Cumberland Farms retail locations, a company oil terminal, and one residential customer (a Gulf Oil employee), prior to deciding whether to offer retail electric supply to other customers.


MidAmerican Energy Company Receives Pennsylvania Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted MidAmerican Energy Company an electric generation supplier license to serve all sizes of commercial, industrial, and governmental customers in all service areas.  MidAmerican Energy's application was first reported in Matters (9/29).


Oasis Energy Receives Pennsylvania Gas License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Oasis Energy a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, at UGI Utilities.  Oasis' application was first reported in Matters (11/8).
