Start-up ESCO Led By Market Vet Receives Initial New York ESCO Eligibility Finding

New York Department of Public Service Staff have informed American Energy Supply LLC that all requirements for the initial state of the company's ESCO eligibility determination have been satisfied.
Staff noted that American Energy Supply LLC may now continue with the utility approval stage of the eligibility process.
As is customary, Staff informed American Energy Supply that, "Once you have satisfactorily completed the utility eligibility stage, Staff will be notified by the utility of your success. Please notify Staff of the actual production date in the utility service territories you intend to enroll customers. At that point Staff will confirm your final eligibility requirements have been satisfied."
American Energy Supply LLC's ESCO eligibility, when final, will allow it to serve all customer classes. For mass market customers, American Energy Supply LLC is to be authorized to offer a fixed rate plan subject to the price cap, and a compliant renewable energy product
As previously reported, American Energy Supply LLC is led by Murad (Marc) Jajati, CEO, who was previously a founder at New York-based ESCO Buy Energy Direct, LLC, and who also served as CFO at the supplier. Jajati has also led real estate development and contracting companies, and founded and served as CEO of Sky Water
