Texas REP Offers Free Power Hours On Thanksgiving, Black Friday Giveaways

Octopus Energy in Texas said that it is providing customers in its Saving Sessions program free power for a two-hour period on Thanksgiving Day
Saving Sessions is a program encouraging usage shifting (see details here)
"To help households cut costs, Octopus Energy is offering Texas customers a two-hour period of completely free electricity on Thanksgiving Day. Customers will receive their individual free-power window, giving them time to plan their cooking, hosting, and game-day traditions around the savings," Octopus said earlier this week
Octopus generally said that the free power window will be 1PM - 3PM
Octopus further said, while supplies last, "On November 28th, Black Friday will also get a playful Pink Friday makeover with freebies, including 10 tech bundles, $25 credits for 50 lucky customers, and 25 'Love Packs' filled with goodies."
The tech bundle includes smart thermostats, plugs and power strips
On Pink Friday, Octopus Energy will also give 20 customers the chance to win two tickets to any League One Volleyball (LOVB) home game of their choice in Houston, Texas.
Pink Friday giveaways will be shared exclusively on Octopus Energy US social media channels across all platforms
