Texas Retail Provider Names Former PSC Chair As Head of Policy; Recent Hires Position Company For National Engagement In Energy Markets

Base Power appointed Travis Kavulla as Head of Policy, and formally announced Zina Bash as Chief Legal Officer

Kavulla, with 15 years experience, most recently served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at NRG
Kavulla also previously served as Chairman of the Montana Public Service Commission, and is a past president of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners
Base, which to date has focused on the Texas market, said that these senior hires, "position Base to engage deeply with regulators and energy markets nationwide."
