The District of Columbia PSC invited comments concerning recent data responses from Pepco and Washington Gas Light regarding potential changes to the purchase of receivables discount programs

Among other things, the previously reported data responses addressed: the discounts that would result from removing utility late payment fee revenue as a POR discount offset; proposed amortization periods for the accrued POR uncollectibles balances and associated revised discount rates; the feasibility of implementing supplier-specific POR discount rates; and the number of customers with uncollectable accounts on POR for each retail supplier
