NextEra Energy Services Maryland, LLC filed to relinquish its Maryland natural gas supplier license. NextEra Energy Services Maryland stated in a filing that, "NextEra Energy Services Maryland, LLC confirms that it no longer serves Maryland natural gas customers and has coordinated the orderly transition of any remaining natural gas customers, as applicable." Separately, Premier Power Solutions, which is owned by NextEra, filed to relinquish both its Maryland electric and natural gas broker licenses
Update On Service Areas Impacted By ResCom Default At PJM
The FirstEnergy Ohio utilities confirmed in a PUCO filing that ResCom Energy, LLC d/b/a NextVolt Energy, which defaulted at PJM as first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last week, had been serving electric customers in the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities' service area, though the FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs did not list a number of affected customers.
