The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

ENGIE Power & Gas, LLC (EPG, f/k/a Plymouth Rock Energy, LLC), which as previously reported is winding down operations, said in a regulatory filing that "the majority" of its customers were transferred to NextEra Energy Services Midwest, LLC or to New Wave Energy, LLC (a unit of NextEra)

While EnergyChoiceMatters.com had first reported last summer (story here) the specific number of customers being assigned by EPG to NextEra in several markets, at that time it was not clear that such totals represented the "majority" of the EPG customer base, as has now been disclosed

EPG further disclosed that, "Those customers not transferred were allowed to roll off to another supplier."

As of the end of January 2026, EPG has no customers and serves no load in any market.

Other ENGIE entities, such as ENGIE Resources, LLC, continue to hold various retail supplier licenses
