Continental Resources Joins Parent Of Retail Provider In Developing 452 MW Power Plant In ERCOT

Mercuria Americas and Continental Resources announced a partnership to build the Pecos Power Plant, a 452 MW gas-fired power plant in Pecos, Texas, in the Permian Basin and with the plant serving the ERCOT market
Mercuria Americas has led the project's development with construction beginning in September 2025, and with commercial operations targeted for 2027.
Continental Resources has now joined as a strategic partner to the project

Mercuria ultimately owns Amber Energy Services, LLC, an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider, under which the company is authorized to serve customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
