Utility's Mass Market Default Service Rates Increasing 17-22%

Delmarva Power in Delaware has filed new electricity SOS supply rates for the 12-month period beginning June 1, 2026
For rate class "R" residential customers, Delmarva's Supply Capacity, Energy and Ancillary SOS rate will be 11.1063 cents per kWh for all kWh for the period June 2026 through September 2026, or about 17% higher than the current rate of 9.4804 cents per kWh for all kWh.
The Supply Capacity, Energy and Ancillary SOS rate does not include bypassable transmission or the bypassable Procurement Cost Adjustment (PCA, reconciliation)
For rate class "R" residential customers, Delmarva's Supply Capacity, Energy and Ancillary SOS rate will be 11.4049 cents per kWh for all kWh for the period October 2026 through May 2027
For the regular rate class Small General Service – Secondary Non-Demand "SGS-ND" (not any of the special separately metered heat classes), Delmarva's Supply Capacity, Energy and Ancillary SOS rate will be 10.3985 cents per kWh for all kWh for the period June 2026 through September 2026, or about 22% higher than the current rate of 8.4689 cents per kWh for all kWh.
For the regular rate class Small General Service – Secondary Non-Demand "SGS-ND" (not any of the special separately metered heat classes), Delmarva's Supply Capacity, Energy and Ancillary SOS rate will be 9.9489 cents per kWh for all kWh for the period October 2026 through May 2027

Additionally, Delmarva filed to increase the Procurement Cost Adjustment for the R and SGS-ND rate classes to $0.004997 per kWh, up nearly half a cent per kWh from the current $0.000957 per kWh
