Winning Auction Prices Increase In PECO's March 2026 Default Service Procurement

PECO has posted results from its March 2026 procurement for a portion of electric default service supplies for various periods through 2028.
PECO's procurement resulted in weighted average winning bid prices ($/MWh) as follows. All products listed below were fixed-price full requirements
Although the delivery periods were not the same as procured in the March 2026 RFP, PECO's September 2025 SOS procurement resulted in lower residential prices of $88 to $91 per MWh depending on term length, and lower small commercial prices of $83 to $86 per MWh depending on term length. The March 2026 prices are also higher than the 12-month tranche prices from the March 2025 auction whose terms are ending (which had been $97 for residential and $91 for small commercial)
