PECO Files To Increase Bypassable Procurement Charge, Increase POR Discounts

PECO, as part of a newly filed natural gas rate case at the Pennsylvania PUC, proposed to increase the bypassable Gas Procurement Charge (GPC) to $0.0452 per Mcf, from the current $0.0360 per Mcf
PECO also proposed to update the uncollectibles factors used in the Merchant Function Charge, which will also be used as the updated purchase of receivables discount rates
Specifically, PECO proposes to set the MFC write-off factor and POR discounts as follows:
The MFC factors listed above would be applied to the default service commodity cost to determine the actual bypassable merchant function charge rate charged to customers, which will vary as the commodity cost varies
