Supplemental PIPP RFP Awards 100% Of PIPP Load

A supplemental Request for Proposals process to procure electric supplies for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers at the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities, for a term of June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, awarded 100% of the PIPP load
The identity of the winning retail supplier(s) will remain confidential for a customary period
The supplemental PIPP RFP is not bound by a price cap (Benchmark Price) as the initial RFP was. As previously reported, the initial RFP failed to attract any conforming bids, which is not uncommon for the initial PIPP auctions
Bidders must be registered as retail electric suppliers in order to participate in the PIPP supply RFP
PIPP customers are ineligible to shop
