ComEd Files Increased Billing Charge For Retail Suppliers Using POR, Uncollectibles Factor Also Rises

Commonwealth Edison in Illinois has filed revisions to certain components under Rider PORCB which governs ComEd's purchase of receivables program
Under the tariff update, the Cost Recovery Amount (CRA) charged to retail electric suppliers using PORCB would be a per customer (bill) charge of $0.14 effective June 1, 2026, up from the current charge of $0.12
The CRA recovers administrative and similar costs of the POR program
Under ComEd's tariff update, the PORCB Uncollectible Factor (UF) would be 1.0099 effective June 1, 2026, up from the current UF of 1.0072
A UF of 1.0099 represents an effective uncollectible percentage POR discount of 0.98% (up from the current 0.71%)
