White Label Retail Supplier, Currently Active In Texas, Further Confirms Expansion To "Several" PJM States

Light Energy, LLC ("Light Energy") will act as a retail energy supplier in "several" states in PJM, Light Energy stated in an application for FERC electricity market-based rate authority
EnergyChoiceMatters.com first reported in February that Light Energy, LLC had applied for a New Jersey electric license
Light Energy, LLC in its FERC MBR application disclosed certain information concerning its ownership
Light Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Light Energy Holdings, LLC, which in turn
is wholly owned by Light Technology, LLC ("Light Technology").
The following persons and
entities own more than ten percent (10%) of Light Technology:
• Mr. Baker Shogry
• Mr. Adam Compain
• Mischief GP 2, LLC ("Mischief GP")
• Spark Management Partners VII, LLC ("Spark Management")
Along with Mr. Shogry
and Mr. Compain, Mr. Zachary Perret is a Director with Light Technology
The following individuals are each a Manager of Mischief GP and also own 10% or more
of Mischief GP: Zachary Perret, Lauren Farleigh, Dustin Moring, and Nate Abbott
The following individuals are officers with Spark Management: Santo Politi (member),
Alexander Finkelstein (member), Jeremy Philips (member) (collectively, "Spark Members") and
Alexa Lyons (Chief Financial Officer). Each of the three Spark Members own ten percent (10%)
of Spark Management.
Light Energy is active in Texas as, essentially, a white label retail electric provider, offering a platform for various brands to offer retail electric service, often with branded product names, provided by Light
As previously reported, Light Energy's website indicated an intent to expand into other Northeast states including Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Illinois
