Grid Power Direct Receives Delaware Retail Supplier License
The Delaware PSC granted Grid Power Direct, LLC a retail electric supplier license to serve large commercial and industrial
customers in all service areas
Liberty Wholesale Commodities Receives Texas Retail Provider Certificate
The Texas PUC granted an Option 2 retail electric provider certificate to Liberty Wholesale Commodities LLC. Under the customary licensing process for Option 2 REPs, Liberty Wholesale Commodities had previously been granted a conditional Option 2 REP certificate, subject to Liberty filing with the PUC an affidavit from a least one customer which is 1 MW or larger agreeing to take service from Liberty. Since such conditional issuance, Liberty has filed a customer affidavit, and Liberty has now been granted an Option 2 retail electric provider certificate. Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service. As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Liberty Wholesale Commodities is part of Liberty Energy Inc., whose businesses include Liberty Power Innovations LLC, which provides advanced distributed power and energy storage solutions for the commercial and industrial, data center, energy, and mining industries. Final Order Grants Connecticut Aggregator License To Solution Energy
The Connecticut PURA issued a final decision which grants Solution Energy, LLC an electric aggregator certificate to serve commercial and industrial customers (PURA's order uses boilerplate language authorizing service to all non-residential customers including municipal and government customers, but the order also references Solution Energy's application which, unless amended during the proceeding, only sought service to C&I customers)
