The Southeast Ohio Public Energy Council d/b/a Sustainable Ohio Public Energy Council (SOPEC) has posted pricing for the City of Dayton, Ohio's opt-out electricity aggregation

Starting on or about June 2026 (depending on meter read date), the Dayton, Ohio aggregation rate will be $0.10691 per kWh, for a 100% renewable product, continuing until the June 2027 meter read

That's about 23% higher than the current aggregation rate of $0.08710 per kWh

The new rate of $0.10691 per kWh also applies to certain other SOPEC communities, such as the City of Riverside

AEP Energy will serve as the supplier for the Dayton and Riverside CCAs. While pricing is fixed through June 2027, AEP's supply agreement appears to run through June 2029 based on a customer disclosure

AEP Energy is the current supplier of the Dayton municipal aggregation
