Utility Files Update To POR Discount Rates

Potomac Edison has filed with Maryland PSC an annual update to its purchase of receivables discount rates for non-residential customers
As shown below, Potomac Edison does not propose any change in the current 0% POR discount rate for all non-residential classes. The current and proposed 0% discounts reflect a zero-ing out of the negative discounts which result from the POR discount rate calculation, consistent with PSC precedent
Potomac Edison also formally moved to delete the residential POR discount rate listed in its tariff, given the end of residential POR on December 31, 2025, except for previously purchased receivables subject to cancel/rebills and similar instances related to receivables purchased prior to December 31, 2025. The reconciliation of the final residential POR balances is subject to a previously reported process
