Oncor Files Updates To DCRF, TCRF Charged To Retail Providers In Single Unified Tracker Proceeding
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Oncor has sought, via a single unified tracker mechanism proceeding at the Texas PUC, to update the distribution cost recovery factor (DCRF) and transmission cost recovery factor (TCRF) charged to retail electric providers, as well as to update the interim transmission cost of service (TCOS)
Under the application, Oncor's DCRF would be set as follows for several classes. The current DCRF is listed for comparison. The DCRF is scheduled to be set at $0 for all classes under new base rates which were recently approved and which take effect June 1, 2026, under Oncor's separate rate case proceeding. The new DCRFs proposed in the single unified tracker mechanism proceeding would take effect Oct. 4, 2026
