Retail Supplier Formally Seeks Regulator's Approval For Transfer Of RECs For RPS Compliance

Eligo Energy CT, LLC has formally requested that the Connecticut PURA provide Eligo with a statement in writing that the Authority will accept certain RECs generated in the calendar year 2024 towards the Connecticut RPS compliance requirements for the compliance year 2025
Eligo had previously sought such relief through a letter to PURA which was not made part of a formal docket
Eligo, in a filing dated April 28, has now made the request as part of a docket. Eligo's filing in a footnote suggests that PURA had requested that Eligo's motion be filed in Docket 25-06-01 (the 2024 RPS docket), but the motion has been attached to Docket 26-06-01 (the 2025 RPS compliance docket)
