Ameren Illinois Bypassable Transmission Rate To Increase 5%

Ameren Illinois has filed an update to its bypassable transmission rate effective June 1, 2026
All rates in this story are for non-interval metered, non-lighting customers in the stated rate case
For residential DS-1 customers, Ameren's Transmission Service Charge will be 2.765 cents per kWh effective June 1, 2026, about 5% higher than the current rate of 2.629 cents per kWh
For Small General Delivery Service DS-2 customers, Ameren's Transmission Service Charge will be 2.688 cents per kWh effective June 1, 2026, about 5% higher than the current rate of 2.555 cents per kWh
