NRG's Vivint Releases HomeView App for Total Home Visibility and Control at a Glance, Said To Be Only Smart Home App Offering Integrated Control of Security, Home Automation, and Energy Management, "In A Connected, Simple, Customizable Experience"

NRG Energy's Vivint announced the rollout of what Vivint said is Vivint's biggest app update ever, highlighted by the introduction of HomeView, a, "new dynamic in-app experience that allows users to see the state of their home, from locks to cameras to their HVAC system with a single glance."
Vivint said that, "Vivint is the only smart home company that offers customers one simple place to manage their home’s security, automation, and energy usage from anywhere, at any time."
"Vivint HomeView is an interactive image interface that offers a snapshot view of a home’s alarm status, doors, windows, garages, locks, cameras, HVAC, and more by mirroring real-time statuses and updates on an image designed to represent the user’s actual home," Vivint said
"HomeView brings security, energy, and critical home insights together in one intuitive view, so customers can instantly understand what’s happening in their home and act with confidence," Vivint said
"For example, if your garage or front door is open, HomeView will show it as open. If your air conditioner is running, an animation over the HVAC system visually confirms that cooling is in progress. HomeView also includes quick-action buttons for instant control when it matters most, delivering clearer visibility, faster response, and 24/7 peace of mind," Vivint said
In addition to HomeView, Vivint said that Vivint has released several other app updates designed for simplification and customization of the user experience, including:
"My Home": The newly unified "My Home" tab brings security, energy, actions and automation together in one simple, customizable dashboard. Homeowners can rearrange the tiles in order of what matters most to them, from cameras, sensors, and lights to shortcuts, actions, and energy management.
Insights: "Turn technical device, system, and energy data into visual stories about every home’s performance with Vivint’s new approach to insights. See data and information on the system, indoor vs. outdoor temperature comparisons, energy conserved and more, helping you truly understand the value of a smarter, more efficient home."
"For You": The new "For You" tab is a personalized section within the Vivint app that showcases helpful account tools, product recommendations and exclusive offers for every home. "Users can effortlessly add or remove users, discover new features and products alongside tips that help them and get the most out of their home experiences," Vivint said
