Urban Utility Group Files Texas Broker Registration
Urban Utility Group filed a registration as a Texas electric broker. The broker registration form as filed listed the registering entity's name as Urban Utility Group, but the form included the selection of sole proprietor as the entity type. Erica Mccuin serves as CEO of Urban Utility Group. Mccuin had earlier this year filed a Texas broker registration under the name Lone Star Energy Consultants
XL Energy Corp Receives Ohio License
The PUC of Ohio granted XL Energy Corp an electric broker license. In its original application, XL Energy Corp applied to serve commercial customers at AES Ohio (Dayton Power & Light), Ohio Edison, and Toledo Edison, with an amended application indicating that XL Energy Corp would serve customers at AEP Ohio, the FirstEnergy utilities, and Duke Energy Ohio
Updated: South Shore Trading and Distributors Seeks Massachusetts Electric License
South Shore Trading and Distributors, Inc. applied for a Massachusetts electric broker license to serve C&I customers. South Shore's Massachusetts electric broker application had been previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com based on a statement in South Shore's recently filed natural gas retail agent application which had indicated that the company was also seeking an electric license, but the electric application had not been available at such time.
