Ebere Osemele Ekene has joined NextEra Energy Resources as Director, Development - Gas Supply, working at the intersection of energy infrastructure, natural gas markets, and power generation development. Jake Huff has joined Octopus Energy as Senior Business Development Manager. Huff previously served as Senior Partner Channel Sales Manager at NRG Energy.
Jonathan Marek has joined Spark Energy as a Business Development Manager for Commercial Sales. Marek has over a decade in retail energy, having previously served as Indirect Business Development Manager - Key Partner Group, and as Pricing & Load Management Sr. Analyst, at ENGIE.
Todd Cohn has been promoted to to Director, Structured Origination at NextEra Energy. Cohn has held various LC&I-focused roles at NextEra Energy and Approved Energy over the past decade
Edgar Aburto has joined Atlantic Energy as Commercial Sales Manager. Aburto previously held sales, account management, and related roles at Gexa, Shell, and NRG.
Alexander Peck has joined Pattern Energy as Lead Trader. Peck previously held portfolio manager positions at NRG Energy and XOOM Energy. Most recently, Peck held several power markets and origination roles at Onward Energy.
Kevin Thompson has been promoted to Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs for Canada at NRG Energy. Thompson has been with NRG Energy and Direct Energy since 2020, with prior roles including Regulatory Affairs Manager, and Manager, Regulated Business.
Paul Toranzo was recently named Senior Director, Mass Market Sales at National Gas & Electric. Toranzo previously served as Director, Mass Market Sales at National Gas & Electric. Toranzo has been in retail energy for nearly 25 years, having held senior sales roles at suppliers including CleanSky Energy and Genie Energy.
Jillian J. has joined Gridmatic Retail as Senior Sales Support Specialist. Jillian J. has held sales support and transaction analyst roles at various retail suppliers including ENGIE and Constellation over the past 15 years.
