Retail Supplier To Pay $3,750 Penalty

The Illinois Commerce Commission approved an order under which American PowerNet Management, LP shall pay a penalty of $3,750 to resolve the supplier's alleged non-compliance with the obligation to file its Annual Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (“REPS”) Report in accordance with 83 Ill. Adm. Code 455.125, due on or before September 1, 2024.
ICC Staff had previously recommended a fine of $7,500, but with Staff also proposing to reduce the fine by 50% if American PowerNet Management, LP filed the report within 30 days of a show cause order.
