TLG Receives Ohio Retail Supplier License
The PUC of Ohio granted TLG Commodities LLC a retail electric supplier license. An application form filed by TLG listed TLG's sought territories and customer classes as industrial and mercantile customers at AEP Ohio, though a narrative included with the application described the company's sought authorization as including large commercial and industrial electricity customers in the deregulated portions of Ohio served by PJM. As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (story here), TLG Commodities LLC is the new retail electric supplier formed by several commodities structurers formerly of Calpine.
ESCO-Broker Seeks License In New State
M&R Energy Resources Corp. applied for a Maine electric broker/aggregator license to serve medium and large non-residential customers at the investor-owned utilities, and at Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative, Fox Island Electric Cooperative, Kennebunk Light and Power District, Madison Department of Electric Works, and Van Buren Light & Power District. In New York, M&R Energy Resources holds authorization to operate as both an ESCO and as an energy consultant, and, in other states, such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts, M&R Energy Resources is licensed as a broker or similar entity
Energy Fairies Seeks Maine, Delaware Licenses
Energy Fairies LLC applied for a Delaware electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Energy Fairies LLC also recently applied for a Maine electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes. In the Maine application, in response to a question concerning the service areas in which Energy Fairies will operate in Maine, Energy Fairies said that Energy Fairies, "will serve customers according to Supplier’s designated territories". As previously reported, Robert Palmese serves as CEO of Energy Fairies LLC. Robert Palmese is among the owners of retail supplier Palmco Power (Indra Energy).
EAH Energy Seeks Massachusetts Electric License
EAH Energy LLC's formal application for a Massachusetts electric broker license has been posted. EAH Energy is seeking to serve commercial and industrial electric customers in Massachusetts. EAH Energy's Massachusetts electric broker application had been first reported by ECM when EAH Energy applied for a Massachusetts natural gas retail agent license, as EAH had indicated that EAH was simultaneously seeking a Massachusetts electric broker license, but the electric application was not previously posted.
