Branded Debit Card Trade Name Added To Texas Broker's Registration
CreditNinja Lending, LLC filed an amendment to its Texas retail electric broker registration to include the trade name NinjaCard. Per its website, NinjaCard, "is a full-service financial solution designed to meet your banking and borrowing needs." NinjaCard features a checking account, with a Visa debit card, and a savings account that can earn interest, along with an optional line-of-credit. OxyChem Power Services Receives Texas Retail Provider Certificate
The Texas PUC granted OxyChem Power Services, LLC, formerly known as Occidental Power Services, LLC, an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate. Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service. OxyChem Power Services, LLC previously registered with the Texas PUC as a wholesale Power Marketer. OxyChem Power Services is also registered with ERCOT as a Level 4 QSE and a Counter Party. The company's affiliate Occidental Power Marketing LP is currently certificated as an Option 2 REP in Texas.

High Speed Energy Group LLC applied for registration as a New York energy consultant to serve small commercial customers and large C&I customers. As first reported by ECM, High Speed Energy Group recently applied for a Pennsylvania electric Broker/Marketer license. High Speed Energy Group, based in New Jersey, was formed in 2013.

Kewltronics Trading, LLC filed a registration to serve as a New York energy broker serving small commercial customers and large C&I customers.
Georgia Retail Marketer Receives Formal Amendment To Certificate To Cease Residential Service
The Georgia PSC granted final approval for an amendment to the marketer certificate of NRG Business Marketing, LLC to remove residential service as an authorized class of customers. As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, the certificate was originally issued to Green Mountain Energy, but due a change in business strategy, Green Mountain Energy elected to cease marketing residential natural gas in Georgia, filed to change the certificate's name to NRG Business Marketing, and sought to remove residential service from the certificate. NRG Business Marketing is authorized to continue to serve small Commercial, large Commercial, Industrial, and Interruptible customers in all nine of the AGL Georgia primary delivery pool groups. NRG Business Marketing shall be listed on the Georgia PSC's website as "Commercial Only". Multiple other NRG-owned retail suppliers currently offer residential natural gas service in Georgia (specifically, Stream Energy and Xoom Energy had residential rates listed on the PSC's October monthly rate chart)
