The Texas PUC issued a final list of retail electric providers that have been designated to serve as non-volunteer POLRs (called Large Service Providers or LSPs) for each customer class and service area (excluding LP&L which has its own process) for the 2027-28 term.

The PUC approved, as final, the list of LSPs and designations contained in PUC Staff's proposed LSP list from Sept. 18, 2026, without modification

See Staff's list, which serves as the final non-volunteer POLR list, here

The PUC also approved volunteer POLR for the 2027-28 term

TXU is the only volunteer POLR, with volunteer status for residential customers and small non-residential customers in all applicable service areas (LPL has its own separate POLR process), and for medium non-residential customers in all service areas except AEP Texas North.
