PECO Residential Migration in Past Week is 3,400

A net of 3,400 new residential customers migrated to a competitive electric supplier at PECO from April 27 to May 3, according to the most recent statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 5/4/11 Report versus the 4/27/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

At PECO, new residential migration during the most recent week (April 27 through May 3) was 3,428 on a net basis, down from 4,772 in the immediately prior week.
In the most recent week, PPL saw 2,000 new residential shoppers, versus about 2,200 new shoppers over the 14 days immediately prior.
Penelec saw 1,625 new residential shoppers in the most recent week, versus 1,974 in the immediately prior week.
