Ampegy Names Darren Jensen Chief Sales Officer

Ampegy named Darren Jensen as Chief Sales Officer, concentrating on the Independent Representative life cycle with a focus on field development and new programs. Jensen has more than 21 years of sales and business development experience in network marketing. Prior to joining Ampegy, Jensen served in various management positions in international business, operations and product development and has advanced through successive leadership roles. Additionally, Darren co-founded two $100 million network marketing companies, and most recently, he was instrumental in growing a company from start up to $150 million in only four years.

TNMP Announces REP Workshop Date

Texas-New Mexico Power Company will host its 2011 Annual REP Workshop at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center in Texas City on October 4, 2011. The workshop is designed to provide attendees a better understanding of TNMP's processes and procedures as they pertain to Retail Electric Providers in today's competitive environment. The main focus this year is to share the plan and progress of TNMP's Advanced Metering Implementation.

GDF SUEZ Donates RECs to U.S. Open

GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, will donate 2,000 renewable energy certificates (RECs) to the United States Tennis Association to offset 100 percent of the projected energy consumption at the 2011 US Open held from Aug. 26 through Sep. 11 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow - Corona Park in Flushing, N.Y.
