Potomac Edison Records Second Straight Month of Lower Residential Migration; Pepco Sees Large Jump in Growth

During September, Potomac Edison (FirstEnergy/Allegheny) saw its second straight month of reduced residential migration in its service area.

From the end of August to the end of September, a net of 145 residential customers left competitive supply at Potomac Edison. This compares to a net loss of 201 migrated residential customers from the end of July to the end of August.
Elsewhere, residential migration growth at BGE from the end of August to the end of September was 4,000 accounts, down slightly from growth of 6,000 from the end of July to the end of August.
At Pepco, the rate of residential migration growth jumped to 11,000 accounts from the end of August to the end of September, up significantly from growth of 1,800 migrated residential accounts from the end of July to the end of August.
