Constellation Energy this morning launched a residential electric offer at Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Ohio Edison, and Toledo Edison.
Constellation is only the third competitive supplier offering service to individual electric customers at the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities, according to the PUCO Apples to Apples charts.
Notably, Constellation is only offering a 100% renewable plan to customers, which is priced at a premium over the default service rate.
Constellation's 100% wind offer is fixed for 12 months with pricing as follows:
Cleveland Electric Illuminating: 6.99¢ per kWh
Ohio Edison: 6.99¢ per kWh
Toledo Edison: 6.99¢ per kWh
The products include an early termination fee of $25, which does not apply if service is cancelled in the first 90 days.
As in its other markets, Constellation offers a referral program offering customers $25 per referral.
