AEP Retail Illinois Application Includes Residential Service

AEP Retail Energy Partners LLC is seeking to serve all classes of Illinois customers in all service areas, including residential customers, under its Illinois electric supplier application, first reported by Matters yesterday. AEP Retail Energy said that it serves over 15,000 customers in Ohio.

Connecticut Gas & Electric Receives License

In a decision dated November 2, the Connecticut PURA granted Connecticut Gas & Electric, Inc., a unit of U.S. Gas & Electric, an electric supplier license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The application was first reported in Matters (6/21).
